Steven Ulrich, MBA, CFP®, ChFEBCSM is a Financial Planner at Cassaday & Company and has been with the firm since 2017. Steven works collaboratively with clients to develop a comprehensive financial plan that helps them achieve their long-term goals. Through a model of integrated wealth management, Steven assists clients navigating various aspects of personal finance, including investment management, retirement planning, wealth accumulation, cash flow management and generation, taxes, estate planning, and insurance planning.

Steven initially served as a member of the Financial Planning team at Cassaday & Company before becoming a financial advisor and worked closely under the Director of Financial Planning. Prior to joining the firm, Steven was a retirement specialist for a large, national trade association, providing participant guidance for defined benefit and defined contribution plans.

Steven is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, a professional designation he attained through Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies certificate program in financial planning.

Additionally, Steven is a Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant (ChFEBCSM), a specialization that focuses on retirement benefits, including CSRS, FERS, and the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP). He earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in financial management from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina.

Steven is an Investment Advisor Representative with Cassaday & Company, Inc. and a Registered Representative with Royal Alliance Associates, Inc., one of the largest independent broker-dealer firms in the country. He holds the Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations, as wells as Life and Health Insurance licenses.

Outside of Cassaday & Company, Inc., Steven is an active member of his church in Washington D.C. and enjoys spending time around Alexandria where he lives with his wife and daughter. As a North Carolina native, Steven is an avid UNC basketball fan and also follows English soccer, which has become a Saturday morning tradition with his daughter.
