Matthew Blunt Financial Advisor

Matt Blunt, CFP®, is a Financial Advisor at Cassaday & Company, Inc. and joined the firm in May 2018.

Matt works alongside firm Partner, Nicholas Harris, in a dedicated capacity to help provide his clients with the highest level of comprehensive and proactive service. Matt engages with clients to stay informed of their evolving circumstances and works to identify planning opportunities that can bring value to a specific client situation.He addresses all relevant areas of personal finance, including investment management, insurance, income and estate tax planning, charitable giving, retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and cash flow generation.

Matt holds a bachelor’s degree from Radford University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®)*; a professional designation he attained through Northwestern University’s Executive Certificate in Financial Planning program.

In his spare time, Matt enjoys reading all things personal finance and rarely misses an outdoor concert. He currently lives in Arlington, Virginia, with his wife, Nicole.
