Irene Butler First Vice President

Irene Butler, CFP®, is a First Vice President with Cassaday & Company, Inc., and has been with the firm since January of 2020. Prior to joining Cassaday, Irene spent seven years in the investment and financial management industry.

Irene works with families, individuals, and business owners to guide them through important life and financial decisions. She provides an empathic approach to planning by listening carefully to investors, engaging them in meaningful conversations, and educating them about their financial situations. 

Irene is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), a professional designation she attained through Emory University’s Continuing Education Financial Planning program and currently holds the Series 7, 6, and 63 securities registrations.

Irene is a graduate of Furman University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Outside of Cassaday, Irene is on the Investment Committee for the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties (CFLNF). In her spare time, Irene enjoys traveling and spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Kona. She currently resides in Reston, Virginia.
