Although Cassaday & Company, Inc. does not prepare tax returns, our job as investment advisors is to manage your investments in a way that seeks to minimize taxable events.

Our firm manages money and financial plans with an eye towards how taxes affect investment returns. We do this by measuring potential benefits of portfolio changes against the shrinkage caused by taxes. It is important to remember that, although minimizing taxes is important, attempting to achieve a proper balance of risk and return is our paramount concern.

 While we believe detailed tax advice is the responsibility of your personal accounting professional, your tax concerns are always a priority at Cassaday & Company. Our clients benefit from strategic collaboration with their tax professionals; thereby offering multiple perspectives on tax decisions.

For clients who do not have a comfortable relationship with a tax professional, we help to match the client with the appropriate professionals to meet their needs.
