Ryan Oliver is a Financial Advisor at Cassaday & Company, Inc. and has been with the firm since June 2017.

Ryan works alongside the Senior Partners of the firm in a dedicated capacity to provide their clients with comprehensive and proactive service. Specifically, Ryan engages with clients to stay informed of their evolving needs and circumstances, and works to identify relevant planning opportunities.

He works collaboratively to develop high-level analyses in the areas of retirement, education, tax, and estate planning. His other responsibilities include reviewing investment allocations and preparing essential reports for the ongoing management of client accounts. He also assists with the onboarding of new clients.

Ryan graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) with a bachelor’s degree in applied economic management along with a business minor. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®)*, a professional designation he attained through Virginia Tech’s CFP Board Registered Program.

In addition to the CFP® designation Ryan is also a National Social Security Advisor (NSSA®) Certificate Holder. He provides clients with detailed analysis surrounding Social Security filing strategies.

Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys snowboarding, surfing, hiking, and anything else that involves spending time outdoors. He currently lives in Rockville, Maryland with his wife, Julia.
